I worked at Luck Stone for 19 years, and it wasn't like coming to work, it was like coming to a family with all the people that I worked with. And I got to go to all the quarries, and I rolled out the values program to the people in the quarries which was very rewarding. I worked in the industry for 20 years before I came here, and I have never worked in a place like Luck Stone where you're treated again, just like family, and they care about you and you can sense that when you walk in the door.
I remember Mr. Luck when I first interviewed with him, and he was asking about me, and I started talking about all the work I'd done in the industry. And he goes, "No, I want to know about you. What do you do? Tell me about your family. What do you like to do when you're not at work?" And he said, "I just want to get to know you," and again, I'd worked in the industry for 20 years and nobody had ever asked me that before. They just wanted to know about the work-related stuff, so it was an honor to be able to work at Luck Stone. It's just an awesome place. Thank you.
